Comparing these two Nintendo 3DS R4 and R4i Flash Cards you can easily see which Nintendo 3DS R4 and R4i Flash Cards software is better but not absolute best. Both can play DS games in DS mode but only the Acekard 2i can play DSi games in DS mode. Both cannot play DSi games in DS mode and only the Acekard 2i can play 3DS games. The Acekard 2.1 does not have Bootloader updates unlike the Acekard 2i. Both Nintendo 3DS R4 and R4i Flash Cards can play new games and can automatically load the last game that you played and have an SDHC slot. Both of them can’t block the anti-[iracy technology and don’t have Real Time anything, slow motion, special homebrew and free cheat mode. The Acekard 2.1 costs $13 and the Acekard 2i costs $15.

Bear in mind that for playing commercial DS ROMS from R43DS cards to be legal you need to own the original games if you want to use the backup copies with the Nintendo R4 3DS flashcards. If you don't own the original game cartridges please choose to play Freeware or Homebrew games. In many countries it is illegal to play the backup copies because of piracy.
R4i Gold and R4i DSN for 3DS
